Privacy Policy

In short: GymBuddy keeps everything on your device. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no tracking. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any of your data — ever.

What data the app stores

GymBuddy stores the following only on your device, using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData):

Your workout plans and exercises
Your logged sets, weights, reps and workout history
App settings (unit, appearance, default rest time)

This information never leaves your device through GymBuddy. There is no GymBuddy account and no GymBuddy server.

Data we collect

None. GymBuddy does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app makes no network requests, contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, GymBuddy schedules local notifications on your device to alert you when a rest timer ends. These are handled entirely by iOS on your device and are not sent through any server.

Device backups

Because your data is stored in the app on your device, it may be included in your own device backup (iCloud or Finder/iTunes) if you have backups enabled. Those backups are controlled by you and managed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy — GymBuddy has no access to them.

Children

GymBuddy is safe for all ages: it collects no data and contains no third-party content.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.

Kurz gesagt: GymBuddy speichert alles auf deinem Gerät. Keine Accounts, keine Server, keine Analyse, kein Tracking. Wir erheben, übertragen oder verkaufen keine deiner Daten — niemals.

Welche Daten die App speichert

GymBuddy speichert Folgendes ausschließlich auf deinem Gerät über Apples lokale Datenbank (SwiftData):

Deine Trainingspläne und Übungen
Deine erfassten Sätze, Gewichte, Wiederholungen und den Trainingsverlauf
App-Einstellungen (Einheit, Darstellung, Standard-Pause)

Diese Daten verlassen dein Gerät durch GymBuddy nie. Es gibt kein GymBuddy-Konto und keinen GymBuddy-Server.

Daten, die wir erheben

Keine. GymBuddy erhebt, überträgt oder teilt keinerlei personenbezogene Daten. Die App stellt keine Netzwerkanfragen, enthält keine Analyse- oder Werbe-SDKs und verfolgt dich nicht über Apps oder Websites hinweg.

Mitteilungen

Wenn du Mitteilungen erlaubst, plant GymBuddy lokale Mitteilungen auf deinem Gerät, um dich am Ende eines Pausen-Timers zu erinnern. Diese werden vollständig von iOS auf deinem Gerät verarbeitet und über keinen Server gesendet.

Geräte-Backups

Da deine Daten in der App auf deinem Gerät liegen, können sie in deinem eigenen Geräte-Backup (iCloud oder Finder/iTunes) enthalten sein, sofern du Backups aktiviert hast. Diese Backups kontrollierst du selbst und werden von Apple gemäß der Apple-Datenschutzrichtlinie verwaltet — GymBuddy hat keinen Zugriff darauf.

Kinder

GymBuddy ist für jedes Alter unbedenklich: keine Datenerhebung, keine Inhalte von Dritten.

Änderungen

Sollte sich diese Erklärung ändern, wird die aktualisierte Fassung mit neuem Datum auf dieser Seite veröffentlicht.
